We have BOXI R2 software and would like to increase the number of simultaneous jobs.  Is it best to increase this number on the existing job server or to create a new job server on the same physical hardware to run additional jobs? Thanks for your help. Alan      09/16/08 at 09:25 AM Reply with quote #2 You should add more job servers rather than increase the number of jobs. This allows for control over the new jobs you add. Example if you have 2 job servers controlling 5 jobs each then each server controls the recommended amount. Also if there are any issues you can just turn off one of the job servers without shutting down the whole scheduling system.
